"I have been doing Pilates training with Tracy for only the past three months, but have become very devoted to this program of exercise and hope to continue for years to come.. I am 65 years old and although I'm in relatively good condition, I suffering from COPD, and therefore I sought out Tracy's program as a way to improve my breathing and my quality of life. I could not be happier with the results, even after this short a time. I feel significantly more fit then when I started, and already find I am able to do hours of additional exercising in the gym and am taking several yoga classes each week, all due to the confidence I've found through Tracy's classes. I am the oldest member of the group with whom I take classes and yet Tracy is able to individualize my workout, as the class progresses, to fit my needs and abilities, without slowing down the other members of the class. By doing my program with slightly less reformer resistance, less extension on some of the positions, perhaps fewer repetitions, Tracy still provides me the challenge I need, as a part of the workout program. Additionally, I must say that Tracy makes the work out time a real pleasure, both through her personal interest in all of her clients, and the friendships that grow between all of us in the class. She makes the class such a good time, and creates such a rhythm in the exercise program that time flies by and the class is finished before you know it. And when we're done I always leave feeling tremendously better then when I arrived, with a solid renewed energy to move into the rest of the day.. I'd never done Pilates before beginning Tracy's class, but I couldn't imagine a better environment to learn this program and to move forward with your contioning.. "I came to Pilates after moving to Los Angeles from the East Coast.  Although I had taken physical fitness seriously before my relocation, I had been less than satisfied with the results that I had achieved either by myself or with a personal trainer.  That sense of dissatisfaction disappeared within a month of semiweekly Pilates classes. I quickly noticed greater flexibility and muscle tone as well as improved posture. Improved definition, particularly in the abdominal core, has been my favorite reward. Having a dancer's body, muscled and toned without bulk, has been my ultimate goal and Tracy's Pilates classes have set me on the road to achieving that goal. "Tracy is kind of trainer that makes you want to show up from the other side of town even when it's a rainstorm. The more effort you give her, the faster she'll take you past your goals.  For three months, I was recovering from a double-freeway car accident. I came to her with a bag full of injuries. After a decade of working out on my own, she studied my body and found power imbalances where they had eluded me. After the first month, my body was visibly transformed with the least amount of time and effort. I lost the 'vanity' muscles I didn't need and gained the mobility, flexibility, and power that would take me back past the injuries and to a new level of balance and physical grace. If I had any doubts about her successful rehabilitation, I need only catch the glances of other gym goers who look at my new posture and movement with envy.
